From a single site planted in Vine Vale’s deep sandy soils over orange clay.

A whole cluster semi-carbonic macerated red wine that was pressed after 8 days in tank. I didn’t want to create an extracted ’typical’ Shiraz so I tried to avoid that. Syrah with lower alcohol and retaining its bright acidity help balance a melange of aromatics that seem to indicate density and power. One 300Lt barrel made.

Aged for 16 months before blending.

martini olive / white pepper / a perfect little plum and a beginning of the season blueberry.

Zero adds, fining or filtration.
