100% Grenache

Grapes from, and winemaking done on Ngadjuri & Peramangk Country.

From Vine Vale’s deep sandy soils over orange clay.

Fully destemmed and fermented on skins for 22 days. Hand plunged once every couple of days to reduce extraction then pressed to two 300lt old French oak barrels. I wasn’t sure if it would stand out or go into Little Liar but, throughout the élevage period the wine was just so good. It has stayed that way, and I feel like it’s a beautiful and serious red wine.

Aged for 16 months before bottling.

Zero adds, fining or filtration.
