RASA WINES

BY ANDREW CUMMINS

rasa /ˈrʌsəː/ literally means juice, essence or taste.
The agreeable quality of something, especially the emotional or aesthetic impression of a work of art.

Rasa is the combined effort of the two of us, Emma and Andy.

We make wine in the Barossa Valley, on Peramangk and Ngadjuri country.

We’re proud to produce natural wines from grapes that are grown with the same thoughtful practices.

We gravitate towards using the old varieties of this place like Muscat, Semillion, Riesling, Grenache, Mourvedre, and Cinsault.

Our wines tend to be savoury and it is our hope that they walk the line between being complex and approachable.

For us, we’re motivated to express a sense of place through our wines, help to preserve the important grape growing history of this region, and amplify sustainable wine growing practices for the future of our industry.
